Birdwatching fantastic. Snettisham villagers very friendly. *Note from Bernard: Early in 2020, in response to our guest's comments, we have carried out a comprehensive update and improvement programme.*

Good coastal walks and visits to National Trust Oxburgh Hall and Blickling Estate. A very well equipped and comfortable cottage. The food at the Rose and Crown is excellent and the Old Bank good too.

A stunning house in a beautiful location. We had the loveliest of times in North Norfolk, made that little bit more perfect by our stay in Corner Cottage. Thank you, Bernard & Hazel and your “care team”
We had a very good holiday with all the family; our sons and their wives plus two grandchildren. The weather was perfect and the house beautifully equipped everything we needed. The grandchildren enjoyed the toys and the three-wheeled buggy proved very useful. Thank you very much for allowing us to stay in your Snettisham Cottage.
Many thanks for the use of your cottage. Coupled with the glorious weather and the location we have enjoyed our stay immensely.
We had a most enjoyable week (weather quite good too!) and all agreed it is a most delightful cottage, so well equipped and in a lovely area. We used all the rooms except the children's bedroom as the youngsters moved the cot into their room after the first night. We were very warm and comfortable. Thanks again for everything.
We have had such a lovely family Christmas in your beautiful cottage. The cottage had everything we needed. We enjoyed watching the geese flying over every evening and got up at 6:30am and walked over the mud flats to see them take off on Christmas Eve. Thank you (Christmas Week 2008)
Such an enjoyable visit yet again. We all love the cottage and feel so relaxed here and the cottage is so well equipped. We didn't get to the pub but can recommend it. For coffee we went to Briarfields in Titchwell and also Petals in Dersingham. Thanks so much much to Hazel and Bernard. We will be back! Enjoyed staying in your lovely cottage in great location, so close for getting to see Thursford Autumn Spectacular. Many thanks. Hope to come back next year!
We had a lovely relaxing week at your cottage. The peaceful surroundings made it seem like we were stepping back in time, especially the Steam Train trip and the restored Railway Station which we all thoroughly enjoyed. The cottage is a “Tardis”, we had no idea it was so large, it seems to go on and on! Thank you for helping us to join the sailing club.
Our first visit to the Snettisham Cottage and Snettisham and we were impressed! The Cottage is very well equipped and our children thoroughly enjoyed the toys and the garden! Brancaster Beach is well worth a visit and the Rose and crown for good grub! Snettisham Park Farm is great for very little children – all in all a great holiday – Thank you!
We had a fantastic stay at the cottage with our friends over a 10-day period. The cottage has everything you want to keep both old and young entertained which made our break enjoyable throughout. There is so much to do within a 20–30 minute drive. You are perfectly placed to experience all that Norfolk has to offer. We will be returning next year to make more memories xxx.
Lovely Cottage. Everything you could possible want is in the cottage. Snettisham is a lovely village and you can see why people want live and visit here. The weather wasn’t the best but we found plenty to do. Dinosaur World is fantastic. Would love to come back soon.

Many thanks Bernard & Hazel for making us so welcome. We have enjoyed our week very much. The cottage is lovely, roomy and the best stocked accommodation we have ever stayed in. It is a real home from home and we felt comfortable the moment we entered. We hope to return again soon.
Had five days good walking, weather great for purpose; not hot, not cold, not wet, almost dry! We had dinner at the Yuit, Stoneham, an unusual venue.
Just returned from our week’s holiday at your cottage and wanted to let you know what a great time we had. You cottage is a fantastic place, really home from home and supplied everything we needed. My Dad really enjoyed his 80th birthday at the cottage as you will see from his comments in your Visitors Book! He’s even left you a present - four egg cups!
Awesome house and loved the board games cupboard. The house is in a gorgeous village, perfect location and is set up with all essentials and more. You have a gorgeous house!
We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday in your lovely cottage. Everything went according to plan - even the weather was more than kind to us. It just went too quick. Hope to rent your cottage sometime again in the not too far future.
Once again another very good week at the Cottage. Got in to look at the Church this time (key held at Post Office). Enjoyed home cooked meal at the Queen Victoria. P.S. Couldn’t find a dictionary! Note From Bernard: We challenge guests to identify any deficiencies in the cottage inventory as we believe we have equipped it as a home and not as a holiday let. There is a dictionary there now & a Thesaurus!
Barrie's 60th Birthday Bash! Ideal accommodation for 8 adults to celebrate a big birthday and see in the New Year!
Another very enjoyable stay, this time with lots of sunshine and only the odd shower. We re-visited all our old haunts – old Hunstanton, Holkham House and Sands, the lavender at Heacham – and also discovered Bircham Windmill, a great place for children and cake and fresh bread lovers! Nearby the farm shop at Great Bircham is under new management and sells good local produce. We hope to return next year.
