Wonderful cottage, very clean and well equipped. A bonus having 2 sitting rooms.
All the family thoroughly enjoyed their stay. The weather was perfect; lots of sun and frost.

Hope to come again next Xmas.

We have all thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Snettisham Cottage and the village.
The cottage has been a home from home with everything we could need. Our 6 year old says you have a nice garden and that it smells nice!!

We hope to return one day. Thank you

We recently stayed at Snettisham Cottage for a walking weekend. It is beautifully furnished, warm and comfortable, most definitely the best equipped holiday cottage we have ever rented. Everything one could want is there and more, with 2 large living rooms and 2 TVs - no need for conflict there! Books, videos, toys and games are provided in abundance, plenty to entertain on a rainy day.

The kitchen has everything you could imagine! The bedrooms are spacious with comfortable beds. An attractive patio garden, tastefully constructed, with well established shrubs and colourful plants, still in flower in October, gave us a sheltered, secluded place to sit in the sun. Snettisham Cottage is more of a home than a holiday cottage; we highly recommend it as a superb place to stay.

Perfect location for bird watching at Snettisham and Titchwell. Saw amazing displays – over 2,000 Oyster Catchers taking flight across a brilliant sunrise. Magic.

Snettisham Cottage has everything you could want – just open a drawer and you will find it! Rose and Crown has excellent food.

We have enjoyed our stay and hope to return in March.

Our first visit to the Snettisham Cottage and Snettisham and we were impressed! The Cottage is very well equipped and our children thoroughly enjoyed the toys and the garden! Brancaster Beach is well worth a visit and the Rose and crown for good grub!

Snettisham Park Farm is great for very little children – all in all a great holiday – Thank you!

We really enjoyed our stay at the cottage. The weather was lovely and we went to the beach most days. We will be back next August.

Thank you.

We were delighted with the cottage – our first visit. Everything we could possibly have wished for was here – hence we wanted for nothing. We toured around the area and as two of us are avid bird watchers we spent time at the RSPB Reserve at Snettisham which was super. We especially enjoyed the skylarks.

We hope to return some time in the future!

Had a couple of meals in the Queen Victoria, food was excellent and staff very friendly. Went to Penthorpe Park for the first time, it was lovely. The more we come here the more we want to move!

Thanks for the use of your lovely cottage again.

Absolutely lovely cottage! We have had a lovely time (8 days) here in Snettisham. We hopefully will be back some time soon. Couldn’t fault a thing, weather average “but you can’t have everything”.

Special thanks to Bernard and Hazel for ensuring a comfortable stay and being so informative.

Lovely comfortable cottage for a very nice few days, weather cold but fine.
Grandma and Granddad (George & Iris)

We’ve had a fabulous time in your lovely cottage. We went to Pensthorpe where Evie loved feeding the birds. Food in the café there is lovely. Went to see the geese leaving Snettisham early one morning and saw the sun rising, and a surprise barn owl! Went to Titchwell and it snowed – it was sooo cold!

Mum and Dad had a lovely lunch at the Rose and Crown. We had chips from the chip shop in Heacham as recommended – very nice too.

We’d love to come again. Thank you.

P.S. Evie absolutely loved the baby pushchair – it kept her quiet for hours – pushing everything around!

We had another lovely visit, can’t thank Bernard and Hazel enough for letting us share the cottage. Been to Wells, Cromer and Hunstanton. Joey lost all our money at the Arcades! We tried the Silk Road (local Thai Restaurant) and it was excellent. The cottage was spotlessly clean as always - and thanks for putting up the Christmas decorations, a lovely touch.

We have had such a lovely family Christmas in your beautiful cottage. The cottage had everything we needed. We enjoyed watching the geese flying over every evening and got up at 6:30am and walked over the mud flats to see them take off on Christmas Eve.

We had a very pleasant weekend. Especially enjoyed seal-watching (Bishops Boats in Blakeney Point) and walking along the disused railway line and along the coast.

Two lovely meals in the Rose and Crown! And a few pints of Wherry. We were very pleased to find such a spacious, well-appointed and well stocked cottage. We expect to return in the near future!

P.S. Did you know the “Z” is missing from your game of scrabble?

Note from Bernard Thanks we have replaced the “Z”. Scrabble is just one of the many games for all ages at the cottage. If you wish to dine at the Rose and Crown, Norfolk Pub of the Year winner, you need to book in advance.

We had a wonderful few days. Beautiful weather and a lovely comfortable house. Thank you for loaning it to us.

Looking forward to next time.

Excellent accommodation – very well equipped, spacious – we managed OK with our group! We had an excellent day out at the Dinosaur Park – very good value for money and you don’t have to take a packed lunch because food is very reasonably priced. We had a really lovely stay and hope to return.

Thank you Bernard and Hazel for providing us with such a comfortable base in this lovely area. Our Hungarian friend has been to the UK several times and this was “as good as it gets”! Enjoyed Wells next the Sea – Walsingham – Sandringham. Also the local bus (30 minutes) into Kings Lyn is a good bet – interesting museums and old historic buildings.

In all an excellent holiday and the telephone contact with you both much appreciated.

What a wonderful surprise to arrive on Friday and find this “Tardis” house (and so well stocked). We were lucky to have lovely weather in our week and enjoyed the Farm Park with the little ones and beachcombing on Heacham beach. We enjoyed several walks around the village and a few games of football on the park behind the cottage. We also had a BBQ one evening.

The cottage has really made our holiday though so thank you for that, we really hope to be back. Still haven’t made it to the Rose & Crown which looked lovely. Found some real gems in the charity shop in Snettisham.
P.S. Go to the fish stall at the BP garage it’s fabulous.

We endorse comments of previous guests (Warren Family). We can’t blame mine hosts for the poor weather – everything else was great. We have had a thoroughly enjoyable stay at the cottage, it was so cosy, comfortable and incredibly well equipped! Obviously due to the fact that it is a third home for you. We may well be tempted to visit you again maybe in the summer – we shall see.

Anyway, many thanks again for creating such a welcoming bolt-hole – we loved it!

Kind regards

Many thanks Bernard & Hazel for making us so welcome. We have enjoyed our week very much. The cottage is lovely, roomy and the best stocked accommodation we have ever stayed in. It is a real home from home and we felt comfortable the moment we entered. We hope to return again soon.

We have just arrived back in Preston after enjoying a brilliant week in your cottage. Thank you for allowing us to share your haven in Snettisham. What a lovely house, it really is a Tardis with so much space and so homely. The area is delightful and we found every day packed with interest, lots to do and plenty to see. We’ve had a fantastic holiday and you made us feel very welcome. We certainly will be delighted to return in the future.

Wishing you and your family a Happy Christmas!

We had a lovely time, liked the Cottage and Snettisham very much.  Weather amazingly hot first week, so spent lots of time on the beach; Old Hunstanton and Brancaster particularly recommended. New Farm shop, Carter’s at Great Bircham excellent for free range cooked meat, wine and their delicacies.
Thank you for “lending us” your elegant and comfortable holiday house.  We hope to come back next year!

Lovely Cottage.  Everything you could possible want is in the cottage.  Snettisham is a lovely village and you can see why people want live and visit here.  The weather wasn’t the best but we found plenty to do.  Dinosaur World is fantastic.
Would love to come back soon.

We had a super holiday with wonderful weather.  We spent lots of time on the lovely beaches and particularly liked Brancaster Beach.  Would recommend, “Dinosaur Adventure” on the way to Norwich for those with young children.  We spent a whole day searching for Dinos!!
You have a lovely holiday home, thank you for sharing it with us.

Just returned from our week’s holiday at your cottage and wanted to let you know what a great time we had. You cottage is a fantastic place, really home from home and supplied everything we needed.

My Dad really enjoyed his 80th birthday at the cottage as you will see from his comments in your Visitors Book! He’s even left you a present - four egg cups!

Thank you for our holiday at Snettisham Cottage. We had a really good time and found the cottage very comfortable with everything we needed.

We had a lovely relaxing week at your cottage. The peaceful surroundings made it seem like we were stepping back in time, especially the Steam Train trip and the restored Railway Station which we all thoroughly enjoyed. The cottage is a “Tardis”, we had no idea it was so large, it seems to go on and on!

Thank you for helping us to join the sailing club.

We very much enjoyed our stay at the cottage, and appreciated the space for the family. We were very impressed with the amount of equipment available.

We enjoyed exploring the area around Snettisham and we had two enormous meals at the Feathers in Dersingham! The weather could have been better but the children went on the beach most days and we ended with a glorious day on Holme Beach on the last Friday.

With all best wishes and thank you again for the use of the cottage.

Thank you for a wonderful week at your Snettisham Cottage, Norfolk last week. My extended family and I thoroughly enjoyed the cottage as a base for our travels around North Norfolk.

Your comments in the “Welcome” folder helped us a lot when looking for areas to visit as neither of us had been in that area since young childhood.

Your cottage accommodation was excellent and we all felt in an “at home” environment and made a nice change from the usual places we stay at, so much so we may visit again in the future.

Thank you once again

We had a one week holiday in Snettisham Cottage during a baking hot July 06. The accommodation was very clean and of good quality, in a peaceful and quiet location. All facilities for a home from home holiday are in place, and we can recommend this holiday home to anyone. Personal service and customer care by telephone from the Harrison family was very good.

We had a very good holiday with all the family; our sons and their wives plus two grandchildren. The weather was perfect and the house beautifully equipped everything we needed. The grandchildren enjoyed the toys and the three-wheeled buggy proved very useful.

Thank you very much for allowing us to stay in your Snettisham Cottage.

Yours sincerely

We really enjoyed our week at Snettisham Cottage. The cottage was very clean, well equipped and felt like a real home from home. The weather was very good and we enjoyed having breakfast and evening drinks in the walled garden. The care and attention shown by The Harrisons at each stage of our holiday arrangements was second to none and we look forward to returning very soon.

If you have never been to North Norfolk before - Snettisham is a good centre for sight-seeing and Snettisham Cottage is a delightful retreat to come back to each evening.

Just a short note to say how comfortable we were staying at “Snettisham Cottage”.
As you said, it is a home rather than the usual holiday house one expects. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there with all the comforts of home. Perhaps most of all, we will remember your thoughtful telephone contact on our first evening to confirm that we had arrived safely and had no problems.

Wishing you every success.

Yours sincerely,

We had a lovely week, the cottage was just perfect. A real homely feel hits you immediately as you walk in. It was spotlessly clean and really well equipped. The weather couldn’t have been better. The only downside was we had to leave it and return to work!

Best wishes

Thank you for letting us use the cottage for the week-end, it was lovely, very peaceful and so well equipped, a real “home from home”. Close to the coast and plenty of places to visit. Weather was great and we loved the walled garden, especially with a cold beer to drink!

Would love to return again later in the year!

We had a most enjoyable week (weather quite good too!) and all agreed it is a most delightful cottage, so well equipped and in a lovely area. We used all the rooms except the children's bedroom as the youngsters moved the cot into their room after the first night. We were very warm and comfortable.
Thanks again for everything.
